I might have found the family, but this is just from RootsWeb and censuses, so please verify. In 1850, Callaway Co., MO, the eldest SELBY males were John, 74, & William, 70. Isaiah was 46. Robert was 26; Artemisia, 22; Mary Frances, 1; and Dennis P., under one. Ancestry database of the 1860 Census, Boydsville P. O., Callaway Co., MO, SELBY: Robert 35; Artimesia, 28; Mary F., 13; Dennis P., 11; Sarah A., 9; Isai(a)h, 7; Wm. S., 5; John H., 3. There were others, but I think Isaiah's family was entered twice. He was listed as 60 & 56. 1870 Census, Bourbon, Callaway Co., MO, SALBY {sic}: Is(a)iah, 67; Sallie, 67; Richard W., 26; Sarah, 20; Mattie, 20. Robert E., 49; Artemesia, 42; Dennie P., 20; Sally Ann, 18; Is(a)iah, 16; Wm. Sam., 14; John H., 11; Jeff Davis, 8; Nancy C., 6; Thomas D., 3; Charles R., 3; Carrie Lee, 1. John Henry, 61; Dora, 37; John, 18; Robert, 15; Howard, 6. Luther, 32; Edna, 25; Preley B., 6; Preston, 3. Samuel, 32; Tommie, 24; Odessa May, 7; Jessie Ruthel, 5; Samuel Floyd, 1. RootsWeb says Albert SELBY m. 6 Nov. 1904, Choctaw Nation, Effie BARNHILL, b. Feb. 1889. They had Archie S., Arthur, Maybelle, Tomie, & Marvin/Russell? Albert m2. Lou E., b. 1894, MO. I couldn't find Albert as Albert H., but censuses list his probable father as John H. & John Henry. Can you think of any other clues to put the family together?
