My Perry family came from Montgomery/Stanly Co adjacent to Anson Co so I have done some research on William Perry 1791-1870. I did not know his middle name was Jackson. His mother's name was Elizabeth b bet 1760 and 1770. William had a brother Hardy Perry b abt 1795 and a sister Polly b abt 1802. An Elizabeth Perry was listed in the 1810 Census of Cumberland Co NC with a William Robertson living next door. A William Perry was listed in the 1820 Cumberland Co census (his mother living with him). William Perry married Beedy Robertson and they had several daughters and sons Jeremiah Perry b 1820 and Jackson Haywood Perry b 1829. A check of the 1800 census for Jeremiah Perry to see if he was in the Cumberland Co area and had 2 sons would be helpful.
