I am also looking for the same Joseph Palmer(Palmour). I have little information on him except my gggrand father was also in Jones Co. My Palmer married in 1812 and I found taxes tax records in 1820 in Jones Co. for the two of them. I do not know if Joseph died or moved after 1820. My gggrand father moved to AL about that time. I found Joseph he bought and sold land. (I can't remember the dates unless I stop to look them up). I would like to hear from you if you come accross information. I will be happy to share with you if I fine any. I am looking a his wife's name, a death notice, wills anything that will have the names of his children and any information on his parents. I belive I have 4 generations of Joseph ancestors if I can only verify his connections. Good luck.
