This query was posted a while ago but I'm just beginning research on my maternal grandmother, Mamie Marie Gomes. She was born January 16, 1912 in El Paso TX (I think). However, she appears in 2 different wedding photos (circa 1915) and address of the photographer is New Bedford, MA. Her father was Joseph Gomes and her mother's name was Mary. There were 4 siblings...my grandmother Mamie, Helen, William and Henry. Please let me know if you think there might be a connection. Thanks!
