In the IGI records of the LDS, "Judeth" Drayton is shown as marrying William Peebles 3 FEB 1662 in Charles City, Virginia, and she is shown as the daughter of John Drayton and her husband listed as age 27 at age of marriage. No source is shown on the first record I looked at, but the reference is Batch Number: 7220721, Sheet: 53, Call No.: 0820469. Another is: Disc #26, Pin #711960. There are 18 references to her marrying William Peebles there, one of which says they married 3 March 1661.
Of course, the information is only as good as the submitter, but maybe some of the other LDS references (of which there are many) show an actual source. I would assume the record must be somewhere, if the date of marriage is known (unless someone made it up). Since two different dates are given, I don't know whether one is incorrect and the other correct, or if they're both fiction. But I've not been through them all yet.
The reference on one of the gedcoms listing Judith Drayton as "ward of John Drayton" has me wondering about the wording, which could mean she was a niece or granddaughter of John Drayton. My assumption is that there probably is some record in Charles City showing that Judith Peebles was a ward of John Drayton and that if we keep looking we would probably find that record and be better able to judge the value of the record and whether or not it proves that Judith was a Drayton.
These were ancestors of my grandmother's uncle Gaston Peeples as well as ancestors of my late half-brother's second cousins.
