does anyone know of any connection between the drayton family of south carolina and the wade family of south carolina? five generations back in my wade family the name william drayton wade started appearing. the wades are scattered all over the southern and western part of the state and i think there must be a connection somehow with the drayton family for this name to start appearing in my family line. any help is appreciated. june
