Hello John, Catherine Lucas and Spencer Collings, Jr. are my GGGgrandparents on one of the maternal sides. Their daugher, Lydia Collings, married Bedy Akers. They had 13 children, of whom 9 lived to adulthood. My line is through their middle son, Spencer Collings Akers who married Elizabeth Jane Ader. The descendants of Spencer and Elizabeth Akers are having a family reunion in Sacramento, CA on Oct 9, 2004. Sandra Akers Dole
