William Elston and Thomas Collings were sons of William Collings and Anne ? William is my ggggggrandfather. I have read some sources which state that Anne's name was Elston and others list her name as Anne Spencer. I have not been able to prove which is right. However, each seems feasible as my line is through Spencer, a brother of both William Elston and Thomas.
