Thank you so very much James, for the help! To follow the John Chamberlains we did go to Ireland and checked Quaker records where we could find them, as well as at the Friends Library in London. I taught for a term in Manchester so we had opportunity to stay a while. The line appeared to follow back through the "Johns" but absolute proof was sketchy, so you may be right that it follows another line. Love the story on Jonas. Thanks again.
