Hi Barbara, I don't know if there is a connection but I know of Chaloner's living in Sheffield in 1811. George Chaloner was born 1811 and married Ann Simpson 26th November 1839. They had six children George b. 1840, Thomasb. 1841, Joseph b. 1844, Ann b. 1845, Arthur b. 1853 and Ernest b. 1854. Is this any help or just confusing.
