The given name appears to be Faeples. Surname is certainly appears to be Cason. This name is listed in the 1820 Census of Jones County. Perhaps there is an expert on Cason given names. This "Faeples" Cason may be a father to John W. Cason.
I am trying to trace my John W. Cason line. John W. Cason, b. about 1796 in either N or S Carolina married Matilda Swords, probably in the 1820's most likely in Georgia. No record found. Matilda Swords father was most likely James Swords R.S. who lived in Liberty County, Georgia until about 1819, then moved over to Jones County, (vicinity of Milledgeville possibly)before settling in Walton County.
There are other Cason/Swords marriages.
Mary Cason m. John Swords in Liberty Co. 22 Jul 1814.
Polly Cason m. John Swords in Walton Co., 7 Jul 1827.
Harriett E. Cason m. John Swords in Walton Co., 06 Jun 1851 in Newton Co.
Other Cason names that seem to appear close to the James and John Swords families include William Cason, Henry Cason, and Benjamin Cason (b. 1788 South Carolina) who actually lived with John Swords during the 1850 Census in Walton County, Georgia.
thank you for taking the time to read this.
