Found in some old notes of mine. Hope this is useful to others. I am looking for definative information about a Sarah Cason who reportedly married Moses Knighton of SC. Reference: Tennessee Genealogical Records - Records of Early Settlers from State & County Archives Edith Rucker Whitley Genealogy Pub 1980 ISBN - 0- 8063-0873-7 Loose Papers - Rev War Book Pg 15 # 391 Hillery Cason, Corporal NC Continel Line 1000 acres, 03 Aug 1820. Certificate dated 18 July 1820 stated that James Cason & Milberry Cason, ONLY children & heirs of Hilery, transferred warrant to Darling Cherry. Book Pg 18 # 392 Heirs of Cannon Cason, Pvt 640 acres within the limits of lands reserved for officers and soldiers of the NC Continel Line. Issues 03 Aug 1820. Tanner Cason & Milberry Cason, transferred warrant to Darling Cherry of Martin Co., NC
