Dear Nadyne, It's so nice to hear from a follow Cackler. I don't live on the Cackler Rd. you visited but I live on the one in Delaware, Ohio. To my understanding of the family book we have, when the Cacklers first arrived on U.S. soil they lived in the Virginia/VW area and then moved into Ohio. Christian Cackler, the 1st Cackler to come to America had 2 sons. I'm desecended from his son whom moved into Ohio, while the other son stayed in the VW area. I'm 4th generation Cackler to live on the Rd. in Delaware. At one time my great-grandfather owned the whole rd. and some area surrounding it, but some of it has been sold. I'll try to trace the family book better to find out how we all got here and there. Relatives from VW visited 3 summers ago and we found out they were descended from Christian's son that remained in VW. If you want to find Delaware on an Ohio map, we're north of Columbus, Ohio.
