Cawkwells in Messingham and Woodsetts

I can trace my family back to a Joseph Cawkwell who was born in Messingham Lincs in around 1811. I believe his father may have been James (born 1771), mother Jane. He married an Elizabeth Godfrey in 1838 and had a James in 1840 and John (1840 -1913). John moved to Woodsetts in South Yorks where he married Ann Spencer and had 12 children. He possibly had a brother William who was also born in Messingham and moved to Woodsetts.
