William Cason was born in Beaufort, now Pitt Co NC in NC and died in Warren Co. GA in 1847. he was the son of Cannon Cason and his wife, Rose (Rosa) Whitehurst. Cannon was born about 1724-1725, about the time his parents moved from VA to N. C. They were William and Jane Cannon Cason. William was the son of James and Ann Cason. Jane was the daughter of Rdward and Sarah Dawley Cason.
