Hi Lyn,

I am researching the Carss or Carse family from Lothians in Scotland. They came from around Kirkliston in the 1700's

My mother-in-law is Phyllis Carss McBean. Her mother was Eleanor Carss from Kyneton Australia and her father was Henry b 1858, Millfield England.
Thomas Trewitt Carss was his father b 1823, John 1790 and Henry 1761. That is as far as I have got to. There are a lot of children in each generation back in the UK so there are a lot of relatives somewhere.

Have you progressed at all?

Terry
