John William Carse and Amanda Flesher 1880 census live in Tyler WV and had Amidy 1875, Sanford 1877, and Orlando 1889. In 1900 they lived in Beaver PA and had Durwood 1898, Jesse 1894, Walter 1891, Frank 1888, Fay 1884, Samuel 1882.
My Grandfather Jesse Carse did live in Phila. My mother Jean Carse Alloway still lives in suburban Phila. I believe she knew her Uncle Sanford, but she definitely knew her Uncle Durwood. I knew Aunt Fay Carse Dysert.
I believe Sanford and his wife Anna lived at 1062 Norwich Ave Pittsburgh in 1920 and had Clara 1906, Sanford 1909, Francis 1912, Dorothy 1914, Joeseph 1916, and Mary 1919. Sanford was a bridge inspector for Allgeheny Co.
