William D. Carlyle, b. 1804 Dumfries/Ecclefechen, d. 1856 in Kent County, MI; m. Georgina Rigg b. 1813 in Kirkcudbright, d. 1843 in MI. They left Liverpool in 1842 and settled in Kent County, MI.
