Have found verification that William Carlisle and wife Ann landed in the carolinas post 1669. have not gotten my hands on the reference volume yet, so i don't have the date, ship name, or country of origin.

The first settlers to land in this wave of settlement started in 1670, four years before the birth of Richard Carlisle.

The majority of the ships in this wave of settlement either came from, or passed through, Barbados, whose settlement charter had been issued exclusively to the earl of Carlisle by Charles II.
