I have a thin notebook, approximately 4x7, with the initials K S Carlisle written at the top. The notebook contains notes about legal matters, as though the writer was a lawyer - or student of law.
In looking for K S Carlisle, I find references on World Connect to Kitto Stanley Carlisle who died in Jacksonville, Florida. His family has connections to Oklahoma. The notebook is in Oklahoma. This notebook may belong to that deceased gentlemen.
Slipped inside the notebook is a wedding announcement. It reads: Mrs John Brockenbrough Newton Jr / announces the marriage of her daughter / Laura Newton MacDonald / to / Mr Charles Stanley Carlisle / on Monday the twenty-fourth of July / nineteen hundred and thirty-nine / Union Congregational Church / Jacksonville, Florida
