Hello,
My greatgrandmother was Margaret Jane YOUNG, born 9 Jul 1878 in SC. Her parents were Charley YOUNG and Etta CARLISLE.
Margaret Jane's siblings were:
Laura J. - May 1883
Mary Elizabeth - Jan 1886
Lopher M. Young - Oct 1887
Essie Bell Young - Jan 1891
In 1880 Charles M. and Henrietta P. YOUNG were living in Lowndesville, Abbeville Co., SC. They moved to Hart Co., GA sometime before Jan 1891 where Essie was born.
By 1900, Laura, Lizzie, Lopher and Essie were living in the household of Margaret Ann YOUNG and George Riley HITT in Anderson Co., SC.
Laura married HILL of Spartanburg Co., SC
Lizzie married William B. GODFREY of Abbeville, Abbeville Co., SC.
Lopher married unknown but lived and raised a family in Greenville Co., SC.
and Essie Bell married Milton Lamar SMITH and settled in Spartanburg Co.
Is anyone familiar with Charles M. YOUNG and his wife, Henrietta P. CARLISLE.
