Hello,
An unknown CARLISLE/CARLYLE family of northern Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania had three daughters:
- Margaret, b. 1814 Delaware, m. ca 1840 Thomas Cord STROUP, d. St. Louis, MO 24 March 1893
- Catherine "Kate," b. ca 1816 Pennsylvania, m. 1843 Dr. Henry John JONEs, res. Louisville, KY, d. St. Louis, MO 22 June 1902
- Elizabeth "Eliza," b. ca. 1818 Pennsylvania, d. St. Louis, MO 7 March 1902, unmarried.
Who were the parents of these three Carlyle daughters? They probably lived in Newcastle Co., Delaware, in 1814, then moved to Chester or Delaware Co., Pennsylvania before 1816.
