I am seeking any information concerning the apparent murder of George A Carlile (b1885 in LaRue Co., Ky)near Raywick, Marion Co., Ky on April 26 1922. He was residing in Prairie Township, Washington Co., Arkansas with wife Mary Underwood and family near grandfather George W Carlile. He had gone to Marion Co., on a visit to either his or his wife's family. There were members of both sides of the family in the Marion Co., area. The cause of death cited was a gun shot to the back of the head. The name signed to the death certificate is Hal(en) Helen? Carlile. Any information would be appreciated. A search of newspapers and other historical documents have failed to yield any information. Thanks
