I too am looking for Cabrera's from Corpus Christi.

Eligia or Alija Rodriguez may have married a Cabrera sometime in the early 1870's in the Corpus Christi area. Eligia's children: Santiago born abt. 1872, Ricardo born abt. 1873, Teodoro born abt. 1879, all Cabrera's possibly born in San Diego, Nueces/Duval counties, Texas. They are all listed in the 1880 Duval County Texas Census.

Eligia's father-in-law may have been Pedro Cabrera born abt. 1828, Mexico. Eligia's Cabrera husband died before the 1880 census. She remarried Evaristo Galindo and had at least one child, Marcelino Galindo, born abt. 1886.

According to my last living aunt - The Cabrera's may have used the Galindo surname. Ricardo was living in Houston, Texas as late as the 1960's. Teodoro Cabrera lived somewhere in the Cotulla area.
