Mary and her husband raised the 2 boys after their death. Mary and Elizabeth Thompson were daughters of Stephen Thompson of Fulton Co, Arkansas. There was a Cabe family in Fulton Co. in the 1860 census, but there is no Thomas in the family. Could he have already married and left home, but where did they go in 1860 and 1870?
