Geri,

I am new to this forum, however it is my understanding
that you are listing in alpha order the men who served
in the Black Hawk Waron this forum. I would like to know
if you have anything listed for my 3rd.grt. grandfather
William S. Wallace bo 1799, VA ? I have info that states
he was in the same company in the War as Abraham Lincoln.
He and his family were in Hamilton IN mid 1830's and in
Polk Iowa before 1850.I beleive he died abt. 1884 in
Jasper Co.MO. Thank you so much. Barbara Meives.
