Info only: I found this family in the 1920 census of Glenn CA. It lists William Babb as born in 1871 not 1862..which makes more sense based on his wife's age. And the census taker must have been a real pea-brain because the names were so badly misspelled they should have fired the idiot!
At any rate, son Otis was born 1907 New Mexico.
William Babb's father was born TX and his mother born in Alabama.
PS: This 1920 census was St John's Precinct Glenn Co CA.
