Hello Susan,
I am grateful for any information anyone gives me. The Vernon Jackson listed in the 1930 census is/was my father (he has now passed away)
We are now working on Lydia's father Frank Aaron. He was born in Kentucky in 1851 but we don't know who his parents were or anything. We found him in the 1880 Census and at that time he was married to Mary Plake but that was his second marriage; his first marriage was to Millie Massey. We don't know what happened to Frank all we know is that Mary remarried later.
