In my study of the family of Thomas and Susannah Aaron, I found: daughter Nancy M. Aaron married William Henry Beavers who served in the Arkansas Cavalry in the Civil War and died in Jan. 1865 as a POW in the U.S. Military Prison, Rock Island, Illinois. Nancy Aaron Beavers apparently did not re-marry, and she raised 5 children with the help of family.

Thomas and Susannah Aaron's son, George W. Aaron, served in the Civil War but died in 1865, leaving his wife, Sophia, and child indigent in Hempstead County, Arkansas. (See the genweb site for Hempstead Co. AR--post-Civil War indigent list.
